The Paddle Steamer South Australia Shiraz 2024 is a bold, generous red combining the vibrant fruit of the Lower Murray with the depth and structure of Barossa Valley Shiraz. Produced by Portia Valley Wines, a fourth-generation family-owned winery operated by the Grigoriou family, it delivers classic South Australian Shiraz character with impressive everyday appeal.

Deep purple in colour, the wine opens with aromas of ripe blackberry, dark plum, roasted coffee and dark chocolate, complemented by warming spice. The palate is plush and full-bodied, with juicy dark berry fruit, subtle oak and silky tannins creating a smooth, balanced mouthfeel. Blackberry, plum, mocha and savoury spice linger through a long, satisfying finish.

Rich and approachable, this is an excellent match for chargrilled steak, slow-cooked lamb, smoky beef brisket, gourmet burgers or hearty mushroom dishes.
