Tasting Notes:

The Normans Holbrooks Road Pinot Grigio 2026 is a fresh and elegant South Australian white wine produced by Normans Wines, one of Australia's oldest and most respected wineries, established in 1853. Crafted from cool-harvested fruit and carefully fermented to preserve freshness and varietal character, this beautifully balanced Pinot Grigio delivers exceptional drinkability and everyday sophistication.

Pale green with a delicate blush, the wine opens with lifted aromas of ripe pear and fragrant rose petals. The palate is vibrant and textural, revealing layers of nectarine, nashi pear and subtle crème caramel, complemented by flinty mineral notes and crisp natural acidity. The result is a refreshing, well-balanced Pinot Grigio with a clean, lingering finish that showcases both elegance and purity of fruit.

Building on the success of the previous vintage, which earned 93 Points and a Gold Medal from Wine Showcase Magazine along with 91 Points and an Award at the Melbourne International Wine Competition, the 2026 release continues Normans' proud tradition of producing outstanding South Australian wines with exceptional value and consistency.

A versatile food wine, it pairs beautifully with fresh seafood, grilled prawns, creamy pasta dishes, light salads, sushi or soft cheeses, while also making the perfect aperitif served well chilled on a warm Australian afternoon.
