Accolades & Awards:

91 Point Rated - Q Wine Reviews

"Brighter, red currants and raspberry fruit are the hero. They dance with ease flanked by savoury characters. A day on and it gets to work and doubles down. The fruit is denser and more focused. Cigar box characters and aniseed peer through. More plummy and boysenberry fruit are apparent and the spice game is played harder too. The mouth is coated consistently with a harmony between fruit, oak and acid. A wine which is age well and terrific buying for the money, you won't miss if you are looking for longevity."

90 Point Rated - Jane Faulkner James Halliday Wine Companion

"A lovely vibrant dark purple hue. This starts out with upfront bright plum fruit and lots of spice. It's still very youthful and raw, a mere tease to where it will go. Full bodied and bold on the palate, with lots of powdery tannin and the American oak, (15% new) is just a coating to hold everything in place."

Mike Bennie The Wine Front

"This is a chunky, chewy shiraz of Coonawarra ala mode. Salty, raspberry liquorice characters, salt bush, more salt, new leather and tobacco characters abound. A slug of concentrated fruit character, bruises the palate, sits moody in the back palate with licks of ripe fruit and woody spice. Satisfying slosh, no doubt, though it’s all over relatively quick and the lingering tang is a little squitchy. Cook something over coals and she’ll be apples"
