Tasting Notes:

Two Italian Boys Sangiovese 2015

Garnet red and brightly translucent in the glass, the bouquet displays lifted cherry, leather, plums and licorice. The palate is supple with lively acidity and fine assertive tannin structure supporting the the primary fruits and gamey complexity one expects from this Italian variety. The finish is of savoury spices, a perfect food wine.

Two Italian Boys Pinot Grigio 2019

Pale straw yellow and sparkling in the glass. The bouquet is of Fuji Apple and Duchess Pear. The palate is soft and silky with bold minerality supported by subtle acidity focusing the flavours of honeysuckle, violets and the air in a field after rain. The perfect drink for a hot afternoon or with seafood.

Two Italian Boys Shiraz 2019

The palate is ripe, rounded and soft with velvety tannins and sweet mulberry juiciness. The persistent aftertaste is of black currant jam and toast. This is a rich full weighted wine with a well-rounded tannic structure that is smooth and generous in fruit flavour. The Shiraz is a rewarding drink now but will develop further complexity with 2-3 years bottle age. Whilst this wine will complement Italian cuisine, especially tomato based pasta dishes.

Two Italian Boys Sauvignon Blanc 2020

This young wine exhibits a very pale straw colour with a fresh mineral green tint. This is an elegant wine showing intensity and concentration on the palate. Flavours include lychee, cut grass and asparagus with a balanced citrus lift, guava and rock melon. Bright primary characters and balanced cleansing acidity make drinking this wine a rewarding experience for the novice palate and the avowed connoisseur alike. This wine will pair well with a range of fresh seafood and chicken dishes that rely on simple combinations of fresh flavours to produce mouth-watering results.
