Fresh and unoaked, there’s plenty of cut and thrust on the palate with grapefruit, lemon and lime with a touch of cucumber and nectarine lurking purposefully in the background. This is mid-weight and appealingly balanced and pure. Good now, but lots of potential to reveal even greater complexity and depth for the next several years. Arguably a notch above the 2016."
