The 1838 Reserve Chardonnay 2024 delivers a fresh, vibrant, and fruit-forward expression of unoaked Australian Chardonnay. In the glass, it shows a pale straw colour with bright green hues, offering a clean and inviting appearance.

The nose bursts with fresh peach and citrus aromas, layered with subtle tropical fruit notes. On the palate, it’s all about crisp acidity and a mouth-filling texture, driven by juicy flavours of stone fruit, citrus, and melon. A soft, creamy mid-palate—achieved through careful lees contact—adds richness and a long, clean finish that remains bright and refreshing without the use of oak.

This is a modern, unoaked Chardonnay that focuses on purity of fruit and elegant structure—making it a perfect companion for grilled chicken with lemon herb butter, garlic prawns, creamy pasta dishes, or a light Caesar salad. Its clean finish also makes it a great match for Asian-style dishes like Vietnamese rice paper rolls or chicken satay.
