Tasting Notes:

Comes from a single vineyard high in the cool-climate Eden Valley, a prized pocket of the Barossa Ranges renowned for producing some of Australia’s most elegant Rieslings. Individually selected bunches were hand-picked for their exceptional purity and flavour, monitored through meticulous berry tasting to ensure the perfect balance of natural acidity and ripeness before harvesting in the cool of the night. After crushing and must chilling, only the pristine free-run juice was captured and clarified with minimal skin contact, before undergoing a cool fermentation at 13–15°C with selected yeasts chosen to enhance the wine’s delicate aromatics. Bottled under screw cap to protect its lifted perfume and freshness, this is a Riesling crafted with absolute precision from vineyard to bottle.

The wine opens with beautifully floral aromatics of lemon blossom, lime zest and lychee, followed by crisp apple and subtle orange blossom that bring depth and detail to the bouquet. Youthful and vibrant, the palate is layered and textural, led by bright citrus—particularly lemon and lime—supported by fresh apple and a line of natural acidity that drives length and purity. Approachable from the moment of release yet built with the structure to age gracefully, this Riesling will develop even greater complexity over the next five years for those who enjoy the nuances of aged citrus, honey and toast.

Its crystalline acidity and aromatic clarity make it an ideal match for fresh oysters, Thai dishes with a hint of spice, kingfish sashimi, salt-and-pepper squid, light goat’s cheese salads or classic fish and chips with lemon. Each pairing enhances the wine’s energy, minerality and citrus precision.

Accolades & Awards:

97 Point Rated - Winestate Magazine

"Pale straw wine with a green tinge, inviting brown lime-like aromas and a generous, fuller style palate with pretty perfumed fruit flavours and hints of citrus."

93 Point Rated - Sam Kim Wine Orbit

Delicate and pure, the wine shows crunchy apple, lemon sorbet and lime peel nuances on the nose, leading to a finely flowing palate that's brightly expressed and persistent. Superbly structured by fine texture and racy acidity, finishing impressively long and mouth-watering. At its best: 2025 to 2033."

96 Point Rated - Australian Wine Showcase Magazine

"Some nice lemon rind zestiness to the nose. Good quality citrusy varietal fruit and some residual sugar balanced with enough acidity to carry it."

93 Point Rated - Erin Larkin Robert Parker Wine Advocate

"The 2023 season in South Australia was a wet and cold one, and yet I have found that I have quite enjoyed the wines, albeit constructed with different, slightly lighter framing. Here, the 2023 Eden Valley Riesling is talc-y, lean and light, with elderflower and white currant, quinine and white rose. This is austere, feathered and lovely. It's a pleasure. 11.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap."

92 Point Rated - Melbourne International WIne Competition

91 Point Rated - Dave Brookes James Halliday Wine Companion

"Light straw with aromas of Bickford's lime cordial, freshly squeezed limes, lemon and grapefruit with hints of citrus blossom, lemon cream, crushed quartz and apple sorbet. A touch of clotted cream flows in on the palate. Otherwise the flavours mimic the nose nicely, the wine flowing forward with a vivid acid line before finishing dry and grapefruit-y."
