Billecart-Salmon Brut Rosé Champagne NV is an elegant and refined rosé Champagne from one of the region’s most respected family houses. Crafted from a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, the cuvée combines 40% Chardonnay from top Champagne crus, 30% Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims and Grande Vallée de la Marne, and 30% Pinot Meunier from the Vallée de la Marne and southern slopes of Épernay. The wine is vinified in stainless steel and aged on lees for 36 months, developing complexity while preserving freshness.
In the glass, it displays a pale yet radiant pink hue with delicate golden reflections. The bouquet reveals elegant aromas of red berries and citrus zest, while the palate offers a refined mousse with flavours of raspberry, subtle citrus and a fresh, lingering finish.
This celebrated Champagne has been awarded 96 Points from James Halliday Wine Companion, 94 Points from Tyson Stelzer, and was named among James Halliday’s Top 100 Wines of the Year, highlighting its status as one of the world’s most admired rosé Champagnes.
Perfect as an aperitif, it also pairs beautifully with wild salmon, sushi or desserts featuring fresh red berries.

"This is by far my favourite rose, so fresh and mouth-watering. It is made without the addition of red wine (as are most); instead it is a blend of 35 per cent pinot noir, 35 per cent pinot meunier and 30 per cent chardonnay, cold-fermented in stainless steel with cultured yeasts. The intensely flowery bouquet is followed by a palate crammed with strawberry and dried flower flavours, then a joyous finish."
James Halliday Top 100
"Surely the most consistent rose on the market, with a very strong and loyal following to prove the point. The pale, bright salmon-pink colour comes from the addition of 7% aromatic pinot noir table wine from Mareuil-sur-Ay, joining the 53% pinot and 40% chardonnay base wines. This release is definitely on-song, with an abundance of fragrant red berry fruits and spice on the bouquet and palate alike; then follows a long, penetrating, yet fine, finish and aftertaste. One of those Champagnes you can drink anywhere, any time."

"The utter restraint of Billecart places delicate rosés very close to its heart, dubbed internally ‘champagne rosé’ rather than ‘rosé champagne’. Antoine delights in recalling a tasting in which he poured the wine in black glasses for sommeliers. Not one identified it as a rosé. ‘When my grandfather began producing rosés in the early 1960s, most thought it a fanciful, artificial wine that lacked purity,’ he recalls. ‘He persevered, convinced it would have its place. Those sceptics are now making their own!’ The wonderfully energetic 2008 base defines a restrained and elegantly pretty rosé of pale salmon hue and very subtle strawberry hull and white cherry fruit. Delightfully understated and elegantly persistent, it carries with grace and poise amidst a taut profile of refined acidity and soft mineral presence. This cuvée is at its best in its youth. Older disgorgements have quickly evolved to a pale orange hue and astringent orange rind flavours."

"A blend of pinot noir, chardonnay and pinot meunier from three different years, Medium, orange tint. Dry, moderately weighty wine with bready, brioche and biscuit characters supported by firm acidity. Quite austere - good food wine."

"Light, coppery-pink hue. Attractive mellowness on the bouquet: toast and sousbois, a little celery and pleasant enough. The liqueur shows on the palate, which is on the light side. A relatively plain, youthful, rather commercial style of rosé"
