The Grant Burge GB43 Merlot 2022 captures the rich, approachable character that defines South Australian Merlot. Part of the celebrated GB Series, this wine is a tribute to Meshach Burge, the pioneering winemaker whose legacy has shaped more than 155 years of Grant Burge winemaking heritage.

A vibrant ruby red in the glass, this Merlot opens with an inviting bouquet of blueberries, plums, red currants and cherries, accented by hints of vanilla and warm spice. On the palate, it’s rich, smooth, and fruit-driven, with supple red berry flavours supported by gentle vanillin oak. The wine is beautifully balanced with a well-rounded, soft finish, making it ideal for immediate enjoyment.
