Deep garnet appearance. Fragrant aromas of red and blue fruits, chocolate and spice. The generous palate has raspberry and blueberry fruits, spice with a supple tannin finish.

Technical:

“La Bossa” was the affectionate nickname bestowed on Giuseppina by her husband and founder Vittorio De Bortoli. Proud, authentic, salt of the earth wines, just like the name. Harvested when ideal tannin and fruit ripeness achieved. Gentle destemming into static fermentation vats followed by a 7-8 day fermentation at 25°C to extract maximum flavour and colour. The wine was then put through maturation for 3 months with a combination of American and French oak.
