Tasting Notes:

Dark ruby, with purple hues. Berry, plum and blackberry fruits with spice enhanced by lifted French and American oak. Classic characters of a full bodied Barossa Shiraz. There are fruit flavours reminiscent of dark chocolate, pepper and blackcurrant which combine with the sophisticated, fine and savoury tannin profile.

Great cleanskin Lately, I have been disappointed with the term 'cleanskin' being used to trick pepple into thinking that the wine you are paying is worth more (dan murphy I'm looking at you). This wine is definitely a better wine than it costs. Needs to breathe a bit but once opened up it is a ripper. Getting more soon..

Rated 1 out of 5 by GREGORY from Not Drinkable Unsure of the history of this wine but either tainted before bottling or incorrectly stored after bottling. Either way unable to be drunk (by me at least). Cheap yes but nasty.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Ross from Don’t do it Read the tasting notes and this wine ticked most of the box’s for wines that I have had and enjoyed from GWD in the past .But first taste of this wine was such a letdown nothing like the tasting notes and certainly nothing like all the wines I have purchased from GWD . It was awful I have persisted through two bottles but enough is enough this is undrinkable or should I say not to my liking,and my partner as well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Marcus from Big Disappointment! I received one case of this wine, four bottles corked and eight screw tops. The four corked bottles were a delight with typical big Shiraz flavours but sadly the screw top bottled wine were undrinkable.
