The story behind the wine stretches back to 1997, when wine retailer and enthusiast Ron Fraser established his Margaret River vineyard with the goal of producing premium wines expressive of the region. After allowing the vines to mature, the first Chapman Grove wines were released in 2006, establishing a reputation for quality Margaret River wines.

Deep purple with crimson hues, the wine offers aromas of cassis, plum and tobacco leaf with subtle savoury complexity. Cabernet provides structure and poise, while Merlot adds softness and balance. Fine tannins carry the dark fruit through to a long, elegant and mature finish.
