Tasting Notes:

The St Hallett Old Block Barossa Shiraz 2019 presents an incredibly complex and concentrated profile, leading with an intense bouquet of rich dark fruits, dark chocolate, mocha, and subtle hints of leather and spice. On the palate, it delivers a deeply layered experience of concentrated fruitcake notes and dark plums, expertly balanced by a sophisticated use of oak. This full-bodied wine is defined by its exceptional structural finesse, driven by a dense core of satiny, mouth-coating tannins. It culminates in a long, poised, and remarkably powerful finish that reflects the cooler-climate elegance of its Eden Valley components combined with the power of its Barossa Valley heritage.

A wine showing vibrancy, elegance and concentration. Satsuma plum with layers of rich dark chocolate, cinnamon, cedar oak with hints of black pepper and nutmeg. A brilliantly defined acid backbone, with a harmonious, balanced and long finish. An elegant and bold Barossa Shiraz that will age gracefully for at least twenty years.
