Machine harvested during the cool of the night to preserve freshness, the fruit underwent a five-day cold soak before fermentation with carefully selected yeast strains. The wine was then matured for 16 months in a combination of 40% new and 60% second-fill French barriques, hogsheads and puncheons, creating a harmonious integration of vibrant fruit, savoury complexity and elegant oak.

In the glass, the wine displays a deep crimson hue with youthful purple highlights. Lifted aromas of bright red berries, satsuma plum and fragrant black pepper are complemented by hints of spice, subtle cedar and finely judged French oak. The palate is medium to full-bodied, delivering layers of juicy plum, blackberry and red cherry supported by savoury spice, silky tannins and vibrant natural acidity.
