Tasting Notes:

Reschke R-Series Limestone Coast Pinot Noir 2025 is a refined and expressive cool-climate Pinot Noir from one of South Australia’s most respected family producers, where a legacy dating back to 1906 continues to shape wines of purity, elegance and regional character. From the famed Limestone Coast, this release captures the finesse and vibrancy the region is known for, reflecting generations of dedication to the land and meticulous vineyard management.

In the glass, it reveals a bright crimson hue with youthful vibrancy, immediately inviting with lifted aromas of fresh red cherry and tart plum. Subtle layers of forest floor, dried leaf and delicate oak add complexity and intrigue. The palate is medium-bodied and beautifully textured, delivering vibrant red berry fruit supported by fine structure and gentle savoury undertones. Soft, silky tannins and a line of bright natural acidity create balance and freshness, guiding the wine to a smooth, elegant finish that lingers with poise and finesse. This is a classic cool-climate Pinot Noir that delivers both immediate appeal and refined complexity, showcasing the hallmark style of the Limestone Coast.

At the table, its versatility truly shines, pairing effortlessly with roast duck, grilled salmon, mushroom risotto, herb-roasted chicken or a relaxed charcuterie platter, where its vibrant fruit and savoury nuances elevate every dish

Accolades & Awards:

92 Point Rated - Sam Kim Wine Orbit

"Sweetly fruited and fragrant, the inviting bouquet shows dark cherry, raspberry, floral, and mixed spice aromas, leading to an elegantly weighted palate that's silky and rounded. Beautifully supported by polished tannins, finishing long and finely dry. At its best: now to 2031. $35.00. www.cwwines.com. Oct 2025."

92 Point Rated Russell Gallagher Vinomasters

90 Point Rated - Ken Gargett Wine Pilot

"A fresh and youthful style of Pinot Noir here, the fruit comes from the Limestone Coast. The colour is a red/russet, while the nose reveals notes of strawberries, cherries, truffles, leaf litter, florals and red fruits. Slightly sappy on the palate, there is a hint of bitter almond on the finish. A wine of medium length, time should enhance the qualities here even further. Enjoy this over the next four to six years."

Shanteh Wale - James Halliday Wine Companion

"Redcurrants, rhubarb and toffee apple, some dark cherries and clove. A slight confectionery cherry to the finish, with taut acidity and sandy, gritty oak tannins. Some coffee and mocha on the final note."
