Tasting Notes:

Crushed and destemmed into stainless steel tanks with gentle maceration techniques for perfect colour extraction and pressing off skins before completion of primary fermentation to keep a soft and balanced tannin profile. Post fermentation the wine was matured in a combination of French oak barriques for 14-16 months. After maturation individual barrels were selected by the winemaking team for the blend.

Intense aromas of dark plum, blueberries, and dark chocolate complemented by savoury, spicy oak. On the palate, it delivers a juicy and balanced profile with a "creamy" mouthfeel and a dense, persistent finish. Integration of peppery spices and firm, well-structured tannins that provide a solid backbone to the rich black-fruit core.

Accolades & Awards:

92 Point Rated - Ray Jordan Wine Review

"A firm and solid Margaret River shiraz. Earthy plummy notes on the nose. The palate is full and concentrated with dark fruit flavours and a lift of spice. Thick dark chocolate coating on the palate adds a textural feel. Good for a few years in the cellar."

Stuart Knox The Real Review

"Deep ruby, almost opaque at the core. Plum preserve, vanilla oil and shaved coconut aromatics. Big and dense on the palate, with jammy blue fruits encased in sweet oak notes. Decent length, both fruit and oak tannins ensuring it has ample grip to the finish."
