Tasting Notes:

The Farnese Fantini Sangiovese 2025 opens with inviting aromas of ripe cherries, blackberries, and a touch of spice. On the palate, it’s medium-bodied and beautifully rounded, with a seamless balance between bright acidity and silky tannins. The finish is long and satisfying, echoing notes of juicy red fruit with a subtle hint of vanilla.

Crafted in the historic winemaking region of Puglia, this highly rated 2025 release adds another layer of polish to Farnese Fantini’s growing reputation for producing exceptional value-driven Italian reds.

Produced by a winery awarded Best Producer of Italy in 2016, 2017 and 2019, and following in the footsteps of previous vintages that achieved 96 Points from Luca Maroni and multiple “Wine of the Year” accolades nine years running, this release continues the estate’s reputation for excellence. Its natural affinity for food makes it an ideal partner to baked meats, tomato-rich pasta dishes, rustic Italian favourites such as eggplant parmigiana, or even grilled sardines, where its acidity and savoury red-fruited charm shine through. Sourced from premium vineyards across Ortona, San Salvo and Pollutri, the Farnese Fantini Sangiovese IGT 2024 is a polished, expressive and deeply satisfying example of modern Italian craftsmanship.
