The Chapman Grove Reserve Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 is a premium expression of one of Australia's most celebrated Cabernet regions. Crafted from carefully selected Margaret River fruit, this Reserve release combines regional intensity with elegant French oak maturation and the structure to develop beautifully with age.

Chapman Grove's story began when wine lover and retailer Ron Fraser established his Margaret River vineyard in 1997 with the goal of producing premium wines that reflected the region's unique character. After allowing the vines to mature, the first Chapman Grove wines were released in 2006, establishing the foundations of this highly regarded 5 Red Star Halliday Wine Companion rated winery.

The fruit was harvested at night before being crushed, destemmed and matured for 14 months with French oak, including 25% new oak. Deep rich red in colour, the wine displays classic Margaret River aromas of cedar, bramble and dark fruits with subtle charry oak. The palate is concentrated and structured, with fine-grained tannins carrying the fruit through to a long, refined finish.

The Reserve Cabernet has an impressive pedigree, with the previous vintage awarded 92 Points by Ray Jordan and 91 Points by Erin Larkin in the Halliday Wine Companion. A classic Margaret River Cabernet that's ideal with premium steak, roast lamb, slow-cooked beef or mature cheeses.
