Brygon Reserve The Bruce Margaret River Shiraz 2015

The Bruce Shiraz is brilliant, dark red with a rich purple hue. This wine displays lifted fruit characters of ripe plum, chocolate with a hint of liquorice, complemented by savoury notes of black pepper and spice.  Full flavoured and luscious, the palate is silky smooth with hints of cinnamon and light vanillin oak overtones on the lengthy, well structured finish.

Brilliant light straw in colour. This wine displays lifted aromas of orange blossom, and white peach overlaid by subtle oak overtones. The palate shows a wonderful composition of zesty citrus fruits with a hint of lime, melon and spice with an attractive lingering and enduring finish.

Blackberry & ripe black currants dominate the nose with hints of black pepper and spice. The palate is round and full with fine tannins perfectly integrated with subtle oak.

Brygon Reserve The Bruce is inspired by Robert The Bruce King of Scotland (1274-1329). Defeated at battle, 'KING ROBERT THE BRUCE' found refuge in a cave. While resting he watched a spider spinning a web. The spider fell down time after time, but finally succeeded. THE BRUCE then decided to re-enter his battle and told his men "IF AT FIRST YOU DON'T SUCCEED TRY TRY AND TRY AGAIN!"
