Sourced from a single parcel within the R7 block at the Seaview Vineyard in Marlborough, Yealands Single Vineyard Pinot Gris is a refined expression of site, sustainability and careful winemaking. Harvested in one day to capture optimal ripeness, the fruit was gently crushed and pressed before undergoing cold settling. A small portion was fermented in older French barriques to build texture and subtle complexity, while the balance was cool-fermented in stainless steel. Extended lees contact with gentle stirring enhanced structure and mouthfeel, resulting in a wine that is both generous and finely poised.


Brimming with concentrated aromas of poached pear and ripe melon, the palate reveals layers of quince and a delicate touch of ginger spice. Full-bodied and luscious yet beautifully balanced, it carries impressive fruit weight supported by refreshing mineral acidity. The finish is long, clean and satisfyingly dry, highlighting the precision of this single vineyard release.


Crafted by the Trophy-winning team at Yealands Estate and produced as a vegan-friendly wine from one of New Zealand’s most sustainable winegrowers, this Marlborough Pinot Gris delivers both purity of fruit and thoughtful winemaking in every glass.
