Tasting Notes:

The Crossings Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2024 Dozen is a beautifully poised and vibrant expression of classic New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, crafted from sustainably grown fruit in the heart of Marlborough and designed to showcase the purity, precision and unmistakable character of this world-renowned region. Bathed in bright New Zealand sunshine and cooled by crisp evenings, the vineyards delivered fruit of exceptional intensity and balance in 2024, despite a challenging growing season marked by higher rainfall and dewy mornings that required meticulous vineyard management.

Stable weather conditions during harvest allowed the fruit to be picked at optimal flavour ripeness, ensuring outstanding concentration and pristine condition. Parcels were harvested and fermented separately, with carefully selected yeast strains enhancing varietal expression, while a long, cool fermentation preserved aromatic lift and flavour purity. The wine was then blended, stabilised and filtered prior to bottling, resulting in a Sauvignon Blanc that radiates clarity of site and refined winemaking precision.

In the glass, the 2024 vintage bursts with an enticing bouquet of fresh herbs, vibrant passionfruit and juicy mandarin, layered over subtle mineral nuances that speak directly to Marlborough’s distinctive terroir. The palate is brimming with pure fruit intensity, flowing with tropical citrus and herbaceous lift, supported by bright, natural acidity that drives length and energy. A complex, mineral-edged finish lingers clean and refreshing, reinforcing the wine’s balance between flavour concentration and elegant restraint.

Crafted to be enjoyed in its youth while its fruit is at peak vibrancy, this Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is sensational alongside fresh oysters, fish and chips, grilled barramundi, BBQ prawns or a goat’s cheese salad where its lively acidity and tropical fruit profile shine effortlessly. The Crossings Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2024 Dozen delivers everything lovers of premium New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc expect — purity, intensity, minerality and unmistakable cool-climate freshness — making it a standout choice for any occasion.

Accolades & Awards:

Christina Pickard Wine Enthusiast

"A perfume of pineapple, passionfruit, lime leaf and grass offers all the hallmarks of this boisterous, crowd-pleasing style. The palate is dry and pithy in texture with a big zing of citrusy acidity to the finish. Poolside sipping right here."
