Tasting Notes:

A typical Pinot Grigio from Venezia Giulia, this wine has charming floral and spice aromas with pear fruit and nuts. The palate has delicate flavours of pear with almond meal, mineral notes and a clean finish. It can be enjoyed with a range of foods such as seafood, pasta and risotto dishes and vegetarian cuisine

Technical:

Vintage 2016 was a return to good form for northeastern Italy. The summer was warm and, importantly, tailed off with cool nights to encourage delicate fruit

flavours. Yields were good and the harvest was conducted in favourable conditions in early September.

The fruit was gently pressed and the must was fermented in stainless steel vats held at between 15-17 o C; the wine was cool stored in temperaturecontrolled tanks until bottling, all with the aim of preserving delicate fruit flavours and aromas.
