Tasting Notes:

Intense lime citrus and spice aromas flow onto a long tangy palate with floral and lemon flavours balanced by a captivating minerality. The natural acidity makes this a wonderful refreshing wine and the perfect match for goat’s cheese tart. Or just a smile

Technical:

The region’s great white. Crisp tangy refreshment and a wonderful way to start relaxing. From one of the highest vineyards in the region which means the wine has an intensity of flavour not found in many other Eden Valley Rieslings.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Boris from OK wine, but so many better 2017 was a stellar year for Rieslings in South Australia. I typically buy Clare Rieslings but love some Eden valley wines too so picked up some of this for a little variety. Opened one bottle to see how it was drinking and was very disappointed. To me it was thin, a little acid, but with very little citrus or fruit. No length on the palette, just lacking in the minerality and crispness I enjoy in a Riesling. Buy the Pikes.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Boris from Good but a little lacking character I typically drink Clare Riesling and love the minerality and hard citrus notes. Eden valley is typically a little less of these characters, but this wine somehow is just a little less of everything. No real zing of citrus on the nose, no overt minerality on the pallet and not a lot of citrus characters. Some softer floral and honeysuckle, but for me I prefer the Clare wines.
