Tasting Notes:

Bright to pale green. Intense florals, gooseberry, rock melon and elderflower notes with some underlying herb notes. Rich, fresh flavours flood the palate with passionfruit, guava, gooseberry interwoven with some complex herb flavours and a crisp fresh finish.

Technical:

Produced from a vineyard with free draining stony loam soils in the sunny New Zealand sub region of Nelson. The fruit was machine harvested and pressed immediately, with minimal skin contact. After settling, the clear juice was fermented at very low temperatures with selected yeast strains to preserve the inherent varietal flavours. The wine was fermented entirely in stainless steel.Will drink and develop well over the short to medium term.
