Tasting Notes:

The Tim Adams Clare Valley Riesling 2024 captures the purity and precision that has made Clare Valley Riesling one of Australia’s most iconic wine styles, expressing a masterful balance of pristine citrus, mineral tension and crystalline acidity. Made only from free-run juice taken without applied pressure, this wine reflects a meticulous approach to quality, where only the most delicate fractions of each parcel were selected to showcase the estate’s commitment to excellence. The fermentation was cool and slow at 12–14°C, preserving the intense aromatics of lime, green apple and lemon blossom that lift from the glass with purity and drive, while subtle notes of grapefruit and white peach unfold with air, giving the wine finesse and texture.

It is described as having intense and pristine flavours of lemon and lime, underlaid by notes of lemon blossom, honeysuckle, and white peach. The wine exhibits a remarkable natural acidity, providing freshness and longevity. The palate is seamless with a crisp, brisk acid finish and impressive intensity of flavours. The use of only free-run juice ensures a delicate wine with intense aromas, avoiding astringent characters.

While enjoyable now as a young and zesty wine, it can also be carefully cellared for enhanced complexity for up to 15 years.
