Tasting Notes:

The Normans Regional Series Adelaide Sauvignon Blanc 2026 is a crisp, fresh, and elegant wine that captures the essence of Currency Creeks maritime climate. Sourced from a single vineyard located on the Fleurieu Peninsula, this Sauvignon Blanc is crafted with a focus on purity and expression. The fruit is lightly pressed with minimal skin contact before being transferred to stainless steel tanks for cold settling. After settling, the juice is racked and fermented slowly in stainless steel over a two-week period, ensuring that the wine retains its fresh fruit character. After fermentation, the wine is fined, filtered, and bottled to preserve its vibrant flavors. This wine is best enjoyed now or over the next year or two.

With its pale color and green highlights, the wine greets you with a bright and fresh nose, offering delicate floral notes and the signature gooseberry aromas of Sauvignon Blanc. On the palate, the wine is dominated by refreshing lime and citrus flavors, complemented by passionfruit and a fine mineral backbone that adds complexity. The wine’s restrained and elegant style makes it a beautiful expression of Adelaide Sauvignon Blanc, balancing freshness with a touch of depth.

Normans is one of Australia’s most awarded wineries, with a history dating back to 1853. This 2026 vintage is another outstanding example of the winery’s commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

Pair this Sauvignon Blanc with fresh oysters, battered whiting fillets, or light seafood dishes. Its vibrant acidity and citrus notes also make it an excellent match for goat cheese salads or grilled vegetables.
