The Chain of Ponds Pilot Block Adelaide Chardonnay 2025 is a new release Chardonnay from one of the Adelaide Hills' finest wineries. It presents a vibrant golden straw color with a subtle pale green hue, immediately catching the eye. The nose is a harmonious blend of lifted floral and citrus aromas, with a delightful mix of white peach and nectarine. A hint of savory oak spice adds complexity and depth, making it an inviting and multifaceted aroma.


On the palate, this oaked Chardonnay showcases rich stone fruit characters, with ripe nectarine, integrated fig, and fresh citrus notes. The savory oak provides balance and complexity, while gentle textural tannins create a smooth mouthfeel. The wine is beautifully rounded out by a creamy finish from extended lees stirring, giving it a soft, rich character. It’s partially fermented and aged in French oak, which contributes to its full-bodied richness, balanced acidity, and impressive persistence.
