Tasting Notes:

There is something undeniably compelling about a Champagne house whose roots stretch back to 1805, when the Vollereaux family first planted vines in Pierre-et-Moussy in the heart of France’s Champagne region. Six generations later, that same devotion to land and vine continues to shape every bottle of Vollereaux Blanc De Blancs Brut NV — a Champagne that beautifully reflects its heritage while delivering vibrant, modern finesse.

Drawn from Chardonnay fruit and crafted in the traditional méthode champenoise, this Blanc De Blancs reveals a pale yellow hue with glints of green, lifted by a stream of tiny, persistent bubbles that form an elegant, creamy mousse. From the first pour, the bead is fine and energetic, hinting at the precision within.

The bouquet is expressive yet refined, offering delicate aromas of lime blossom tea layered with airy mineral notes and a whisper of citrus zest. On the palate, it is crisp and utterly fresh, with vibrant acidity driving flavours of lemon curd, green apple and subtle brioche complexity. The finish is long, clean and finely balanced, delivering both tension and texture in equal measure.

An International Multiple Gold Medal Winner and recipient of the Trophy for Champagne House of the Year, this prestigious house continues to impress critics and consumers alike. Natalie MacLean has awarded this cuvée 92 points, praising its purity and finesse — further testament to the consistent quality crafted by this six-generation, family-owned Champagne producer.

Vollereaux Blanc De Blancs Brut NV is exceptionally versatile at the table. Its bright acidity and mineral edge make it a superb partner for freshly shucked oysters, Moreton Bay bugs or seared scallops, while its creamy texture pairs beautifully with smoked salmon blinis, roast chicken with lemon and thyme, or a soft triple-cream brie. It is equally at home celebrating life’s milestones or elevating an ordinary evening into something memorable.

Accolades & Awards:

91 Point Rated - Wine Enthusiast

"The Champagne is finely balanced with fruit and texture in harmony. The wine has a fine dryness that brings out the white fruits and acidity. The wine is full of fruit, freshness and minerality. Drink now."

92 Point Rated - Natalie McClean

"Champagne Vollereaux Blanc De Blancs is produced by a small grower and négociant from south of Épernay. On the nose, this brut champagne is fresh with Meyer lemon, green apple and fresh pear aromas. Tasty and lightly toasty with a persistent mousse of creamy lemon, fresh pear, stony mineral and citrus flavours. Nice balance! Chill and pour on its own or enjoy with seafood tapas. Brut Blanc De Blancs Champagne food pairings: smoked salmon, grilled shellfish, creamy cheeses."
