Technical:

T’Gallant is the sailor’s abbreviation for topgallant, the top sail of square-rigger sailing ships. Like our winemaking philosophy, it represents the peak of an adventurous, free spirit. Nestled in the hills of Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, T’Gallant pioneered Pinot Gris and Grigio wines in Australia in the 1990s – a brave move that defied all advice at a time when classic varietals dominated. Nonetheless people fell in love with them and the new styles flourished. Today T’Gallant continues its tradition of producing fresh, food-friendly wines with vibrant personalities inspired by the Italian and provincial way of life. And what better way to celebrate life’s charms than with a glass of T’Gallant sparkling wine.

It seems counterintuitive to have a fizz with 'Bright & Zesty' on the label and seal it under cork. Thankfully this bottle is fresh but that's just luck. Clean, lemony, inoffensive yet one dimensional. Good mixer for Aperol spritz.
