Tasting Notes:

At release the wine is a crimson red with soft, violet tinges. Lifted aromas of plum, red berries and liquorice along with a hint of spice, cedar and vanilla characters from oak influence. A soft, round and gloriously fleshy palate delivers flavours of ripe plum, red berries along with subtle liquorice and chocolate, finishing in a smooth and elegant fashion.

Technical:

Named after a special parcel of land promised for sale in a handshake with a neighbour. With fruit sourced from premier South Australian wine regions, the styles our winemakers craft are lively and approachable with crisp refreshing whites and smooth soft reds. This is such an easy-drinking, soft and approachable wine. There is wonderful flavour and richness but it’s not at all confronting…a bit like a red wine with training wheels…and a true little treasure!
