The wine was matured in a combination of older French and American oak barrels for 9 to 12 months, balancing fruit and oak to create an elegant and harmonious profile.

Upon release, it presents a deep garnet red colour with an intense purple hue. The aroma is full of red and blackberries, plum, mulberry, and savoury spice, with subtle sweet mocha and dark chocolate notes rounding out the bouquet. On the palate, this Merlot reveals lush fruit flavours of red berries, plum, and fruit cake, harmoniously balanced by creamy mocha and oak spice, with an underlying savoury complexity. Its silky, plump texture is complemented by grainy tannins, providing a smooth mouthfeel and a long, persistent finish.
