The fruit for this wine was picked over a 10-day period from a single vineyard, ensuring a range of fruit characters despite being sourced from one location. The grapes were crushed, de-stemmed, and left on skins in open-top fermenters for seven days, with a slow fermentation at cool temperatures to preserve the intensity of the fruit. The wine was then pumped over to ensure maximum extraction, before being pressed into a combination of old French and American oak barrels, where it spent 12 months maturing.

This approach results in a rich and vibrant purple wine with a red hue. On the nose, expect an enticing bouquet of luscious dark fruit, with blackberry and plum leading the charge, alongside a touch of spice. On the palate, the wine reveals plush, opulent fruit flavours, with bright berry characters of blackberry, plum, and a touch of blueberry shining through.
