Vibrant and dense palate of sweet dark fruit, dark chocolate, liquorice and subtle oak spice. The palate is even, textured and long with an abundance of silky tannins.

93 Point Rated - James Halliday Wine Companion
"Vines of 20-70 years of age were hand-picked and fermented with a combo. of ambient and inoculated yeasts, before 16 months in high class French oak (25% new). The scene is set! Opaque, with glossy seams. Blueberry, mulberry, iodine, violet and smoked charcuterie, all. The timbre of reduction, there. But not overt. Immense wine, with the extract levels staining the inner gums while pummelling the cheeks. This should age very well."
Decanter World Wine Awards
"Generous plummy fruit and chocolate aromas lead to deep, dark blackberry, vanilla and lushly textured palate."
