Delightfully complex on the nose with layers of lifted violet and lavender florals, combined with hints of ginger biscuit.
Elegant yet complex with a medium bodied palate. Flavours of plums and cherries. Wonderfully balanced, the tannins are soft, silky and mouth coating, with a very fine texture and a long, clean finish.
The 2020 vintage was one of the most challenging, due to early season winds disrupting fruit set, resulting in some of the lowest yields in the region. The season improved over spring and summer and despite the low yields the fruit quality, brightness & intensity were superb.
Crafted from three traditional Barossa varieties, Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvèdre. A portion of the wine is fermented in concrete fermenters using heading boards, a technique used to create suppleness in the wine.
The Holy Trinity is a staple for all Barossa wine lovers. One of the longest producing Barossa Grenache, Shiraz & Mourvèdre blends, this wine delivers complexity, depth and finesse with every release- Craig Stansborough, Chief Winemaker
93 Point Rated - Stuart Knox The Real Review
A deep and vibrant ruby-red that offers lifted blueberry, mint and mocha aromatics. Deep and dense on the palate with blackberry, bitter chocolate and black spices all filling the mouth. There's a warmth that works in context to the fine-grained tannins and it flows long and lingering. Will offer many years of enjoyment, too.
Highly Rated - Mike Bennie The Wine Front
Lush, creamy, dark fruited and chocolatey red wine. Ripe plum, some boot polish and tobacco characters, sweet oak licks, a bit of vanilla cream to smell and taste. Rolls along at medium weight though tannins, thick and chunky, raise the weight somewhat. Finishes a bit lemony-zingy. Does the trick, is relatively simple, but feels easy and pleasing for those seeking a wine of oomph and hearty redness.
