Tasting Notes:

A vivid expression of Spain’s most iconic grape, the Finca Constancia Altozano Tempranillo 2023 bursts from the glass with layers of ripe red fruit, warm vanilla, and toffee notes that speak directly to its single-vineyard origin in Castilla La Mancha. A vibrant violet hue announces its freshness, while the nose reveals a fragrant symphony of raspberry and cherry, softened by subtle oak spice from a three-month maturation in French and American barrels.

This 100% Tempranillo was harvested under the cool night skies to preserve its aromatic purity. Cold maceration for five days ensured a deep extraction of fruit character and color, followed by a balanced fermentation process. The result is a smooth, approachable red wine where jammy fruit mingles effortlessly with chocolate-laced tannins and soft oak complexity.

A previous vintage Gold Medal Winner and highly rated by The Real Review’s Bob Campbell, this release is set to impress with its elegance and structure. It’s ideally suited to food pairings like grilled lamb cutlets, smoky eggplant dishes, or a selection of manchego and cured meats for a classic Spanish experience.
