A rich and full flavoured wine with deep colour and dark brooding fruit aromas. Blackberry and currant aromas with blood plum and savoury herbs, underscored with dark toasty oak tannin.

"From old floodplain vineyards, this 70/23% cabernet/merlot blend also has a 7% dash of malbec for true regional inclusivity. Cabernet aromas of blackcurrant crank up this everyday red, which also reveals notes of tobacco and olive leaf before settling in with its blending partners' dark plum and spiced middle palate. Easy drinking, medium bodied, yet full of good flavour. Top value."
"Bright, fresh, youthful red/purple colour, with a briary and blackcurrant-scented nose, the palate medium to full-bodied and slightly harshly-textured, with notable acidity and raspy tannins. Overall, a young and slightly callow cabernet with attractive fruit, which offers good value at the price."
De-stemmed & crushed to open fermenters, for a short soak. Fermentation peak at 30ºC with pump overs up to 4 times daily. Drained & pressed after 8 to 10 days on skins. Settled for 24 hours before racking to tank and oak for MLF. Blended to tank after 12 months maturation. 12 months in seasoned French oak puncheons and hogsheads. Cabernet Sauvignon (70%), Merlot (23%) and Malbec (7%)
