Sourced from older, low-yielding vineyards, the fruit for this wine is hand-picked in small batches, ensuring that only the best fruit makes it into the final blend. The wine spends extended time on skins to highlight the rich fruit flavors before being aged in French oak barrels. The careful selection of individual barrels is key to crafting the perfect blend, and after barrel ageing, the wine is bottled with minimal fining and filtration to preserve its purity and character.

The 2021 Abbey Rock Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon is a deep crimson wine with a violet edge, offering lovely dark berry characters complemented by well-integrated French oak. On the palate, the wine is fruit-forward, with prominent flavors of blackberry, red fruits, and a touch of capsicum, leading to a finish of fine-grained tannins and refined oak.
