Jackman Vineyards Barrel Reserve Barossa Valley Shiraz 2017 is a limited-release old-vine Shiraz sourced from 50+ year old vines in the prestigious Greenock sub-region of the Barossa Valley. With only 30 barrels produced, this is a concentrated and powerful expression of classic Barossa Shiraz.


Lifted blackberry, blood plum and black cherry aromas combine with liquorice, dark chocolate and warm spice. The full-bodied palate delivers layers of rich dark berries, raisin, ironstone and earthy minerality, supported by fine-grained tannins and beautifully integrated oak. Rich yet balanced, the wine has developed impressive complexity while retaining excellent structure and length.


Awarded an outstanding 96 Points and Gold Medal by Australian Wine Showcase Magazine, this mature Barossa Shiraz offers old-vine pedigree, limited-production appeal and exceptional regional character.
