Offering lifted floral notes that typically mix with bacon fat, leather and roast meats; the satsuma plum backbone and silken texture offers a youthful approachability and a lengthy opportunity in the cellar to pursue those truffled, earthy characters wine aficionados seek.

Accolades & Awards:

96 Point Rated - Christina Pickard Wine Enthusiast Magazine

"This single-vineyard wine offers a multitude of heady aromas from tangy current, blueberry and black cherry to crushed rose petal, tree bark, black olive, peppercorn and soy sauce, The palate is restrained, even austere at first, with taut, talc textured tannins and crunchy acidity, but with time, layers of flavour emerge, backed by fine French oak. Despite its muscles, this could be sipped now with a decanter and protein at hand or cellared until 2031 at least."

94 Point Rated - James Suckling

"Exuberant and complex with aromas of cloves, pepper and hard brown spices and a dark, black-cherry and blackberry thread. This is plush and ripe on the nose with a very defined, powerful yet elegant feel. Smoothly rendered finish with a great sense of concentration and depth. Immense, dark-plum and berry flavours here. Drink or hold."

93 Point Rated - Joe Czerwinski

"The 2016 Lindra Syrah comes across as just slightly less rich and concentrated than the other single-vineyard Syrah this vintage."
