Province Vintners Eden Valley Shiraz 2019

The vines are dry grown old vines planted in 1932 located in Eden Valley, producing one tonne to two tonnes per acre. Grapes are then handpicked and sorted. The 2019 vintage was very low yielding producing some of the highest quality fruit we have seen for 10 years. The wine is fermented in vats after extreme cold maceration. The wines have their malolactic in new French oak and are thereafter in the same oak for 12 months prior to bottling with minimal filtration and then further aging in bottle. Province Vintners Eden Valley Chardonnay 2019

The 2019 vintage Chardonnay was very low yielding producing some of the highest quality fruit we have seen in the Eden Valley / Barossa region for 10 years. Grapes were harvested in individual batches to select only the finest quality fruit and minimize losses due to the small tonnes grown. The picking occurred in early March from a single vineyard located in the Eden Valley. The wine was crushed and fermented with 20% of the blend receiving oak fermentation with frequent lees stirring. The wine was then blended and bottled to retain fruit driven flavours.
