94 Point Halliday Rated Eden Valley Riesling 2019 Cleanskin

Appropriately named, as aromas of citrus flowers are easily found in the bouquet, along with lemon zest and honeysuckle. The flavours are yet to fully develop on the palate, but there's an excellent framework in place for them to do so with a tight line of acidity as the spine and a chalky, minerally finish with some real persistence in the aftertaste.

Jack In A Box Bendigo Riesling 2019

Pale straw. Lifted floral aromatics with pear and apple notes. Off dry style with lime, apple and pear flavours. Lively yet has a mellow mid palate with a wonderful line of natural fruit acidity adding complexity to the finish.

Shanahans Evergreen Eden Valley Riesling 2020

Pale in colour with a vibrant green hue. Lifted aromas of citrus blossom, lemon and jasmine flower with a touch of dried herb. Youthfully attractive with lemon and lime zest and fresh green apple. Some dried herb and perfume add complexity to the fine mineral acidity. The backbone has a flinty character and a touch of slate. The natural fruit acidity highlights the wines ability to age gracefully over time.

Three Kangaroos Citrus Flowers Eden Valley Riesling 2018

A stylish riesling that speaks of its terroir and origin with equal clarity. There's abundant lemon citrus fruit, but it's the intensity of the finish and aftertaste that make this wine special. Low pH and ample acidity are the keys.

Clare Hills Clare Valley Riesling 2021 By Pikes

Pale green/straw in appearance with typical Clare Valley Riesling characters on show, including citrus, talc and gentle floral notes. The palate is fresh, dry and mouth filling - the well balanced acidity ensuring a crisp, dry finish. While this Clare Valley Riesling is delicious served well chilled as a refreshing summer drink, it is also great food wine when served.

Conquest Clare Valley Riesling 2018

Clear to medium straw with a bright golden hue. Varietal and regional characters of lemon, lime and citrus on the nose. Perfectly reflecting the nose the palate opens with lemon/lime and citrus notes. A wonderful touch of dried fruit flavours of apricot, peach and some honey blossom. This cellar release has good age which has mellowed the acidity nicely as its integrated creating a beautifully drinkable soft Riesling.

The palate shows lemon-lime fruit and red apple with a hint of spiced ginger. Textural elements combined with chalky acid result in a wine with balance and delicacy.

Jack In A Box Bendigo Riesling 2019

Bendigo has a Mediterranean climate with warm, dry summers and mild, wet winters with some variation in meso-climatic conditions due to elevation, slope and aspect. Our vineyards have a brownish loamy sand to clay loam soils over a stony clay base, with significant patches of gold-bearing quartz gravel sub-soils. Overall, the soils are acidic and fairly low in nutrients the tendency to low yields is undoubtedly the reason why the region provides white wines of such concentrated fruit flavours and wonderful acidity. The fruit was crushed and chilled before gentle pressing into stainless steel tanks for fermentation and settling. Bottled early to maintain the quality and purity of the fruit.

Shanahans Evergreen Eden Valley Riesling 2020

The Riesling is sourced from a single vineyard in the cool climate, high altitude region of Eden Valley in the Barossa ranges. The grapes were individually picked out in the vineyards for their exceptional quality and picked separately to the rest of the vineyard. To ensure the grapes were harvested at optimum flavour and acid balance, the ripening of the grapes was monitored with regular berry tasting in the lead up to picking, then harvested in the cool of the night. After crushing and must chilling, the free run juice was drained and clarified with minimum skin contact. This juice was then cool fermented between 13 – 15C with selected yeast to enhance the delicate Riesling flavours. The wine was bottled with a screw cap closure to retain the pristine aromas and flavours. Ready to be enjoyed now and will have a great lifespan which will enable it to be drunk over the next 10 years for those that enjoy aged style Riesling.

Conquest Clare Valley Riesling 2018

Fruit was sourced from selected grower’s vineyard blocks in the Clare Valley. After the grapes were destemmed and transferred to the tank press where the free run juice was separated and the remaining fruit lightly pressed. The juice was then allowed to cold settle to a clear state then racked into stainless steel fermenters. The juice was the inoculated with selected yeasts to add the required complexity and aromaticity. The ferment period was 14 days while the wine was kept at between 11-13 degrees. After a short period of yeast contact the wine was racked for final blending before being bottled to capture the fruit then cellared for future release.

Seppelt Great Western Grampians Riesling 2019

A wet winter with above average rainfall was followed by cool, dry spring conditions, resulting in good fruit set and lower than average yields. Summer temperatures were cool with little rain, resulting in a long growing season and exceptional quality.
