A fresh nose of cherry, blackcurrant with a slight toasted side, a smooth mouth, ample and elegant with a pleasant sensation of freshness.

Chateau Puy De Guirande Bordeaux 2017

The garnet colour is still young. The pleasing nose offers a delicate combination of fruity and floral notes. On the palate, the fine attack full of sap and great freshness blends with distinctive, mouth-watering tannins evoking liquorice. A very harmonious and aromatic Bordeaux.

Soft attack, round mouth, fresh and fruity. A balanced wine, fruity, pleasant.

Technical:

Chateau Les Graves De Champ Des Chails 2016

Traditional, cold maceration post fermentation, management of the temperature, 3 weeks fermentation, malolactic fermentation, age in cement tank for 6-18 months.

Grape varieties : 95% merlot and 5% cabernet sauvignon

Chateau Puy De Guirande Bordeaux 2017

Pumping over and delestage during alcoholic fermentation, perfect control of temperatures. Racking after malolactic fermentation followed by aging in concrete vats. Traditional, cold maceration, temperature control, 3 weeks of fermentation.

Grape varieties: 70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc

Seigneur de La Tour Bordeaux AOP 2017

Traditional, thermo regulated, fermentation malolactic, a part was aging in barrel.

Blend - Merlot 85% Cabernet Sauvignon 15%

Beautiful dress of a deep garnet red. Nose very expressive, complete and rich despite its young age with intense aromas of black fruits and wild berries, then reveals a slight toasty. The palate is generous, a little solar, evolving towards kirsch and laurel.

Dark dress purple reflections. Very ripe nose of fruit with eau-de-vie, cherry meat. The mouth is on the same register that highlights a ripe fruit but net. A Blaye almost to the point that we can appreciate without waiting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Barone from Good value Bordeaux These are wines which, at their price, rate well above most similarly-priced Australian wines. They are not sharp shiraz, or over-weighted cabernet. They are rounded wines, blended to go perfectly with food, particularly the lighter meats. I recommend them, and will readily buy another dozen (if available).

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jcoops from Highly recommend I bought a case of "Legends of Bordeaux" mixed red for my Dad for Christmas, he thoroughly enjoyed it & kept raving on about how good it was, so I bought another case to keep for guests, so far everyone has enjoyed it. It's my Dads birthday next week & I am about to buy him another dozen. He said its one of the best drops of red he's had in a long time. So going on his recommendation I give this wine a 10/10.
