The Colonial Estate Exodus Barossa Valley Chardonnay

Bright green with pale straw edge. Wonderful purity is obvious initially on the nose with fruit driven aromas of melon, peach and a slight hint of nut. Lovely citrus flavours with an array of fruits including, peach, nectarine and melon developing into a secondary layer of flavours of fig, lees and a touch of oak provide a creamy touch. Tight and focused on the finish with great depth of flavour and a lovely touch of natural fruit acidity.

Songlines Estates McLaren Vale Chardonnay 2016

Pale Straw in colour. Lovely aromas with alluring multi-dimensional layers, there are notes of lemon, lime and fig with touches of nuts and frangipani flowers. Pears, lime, lemon with beautifully balanced structured acid. There is a herbal edge with great length and loads of complexity which continue to develop with every glass.

1838 Reserve Chardonnay 2019

Bright fresh peach and citrus flavours flourish on the nose. Crisp acid of tropical fruits complete a lovely mouth filling texture which lifts the palate, and a soft creamy texture gives length for a long clean finish.

Walker Barossa Valley Chardonnay

Pale straw in colour, the nose exhibits powerful aromas of peaches and cream, with subtle hints of cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla, along with ripe tropical fruits. The palate is richly flavoured with peach, pineapple and apricot, followed by a buttery toast character which gives a creamy mouthfeel. The sweet-fruited, complex and densely flavoured palate is creamy and decadent, yet the finish is crisp and clean with wonderful length of flavour.

McPherson Curious Chardonnay 2016

The luscious fruit used to produce McPherson Family Chardonnay was picked and then crushed in the cool of night from the company’s vineyards at Murray Darling and Central Victoria. The attractive bouquet exhibits pleasing aromas of peaches and tropical fruits, with lightly toasted oak nuances following close behind. This enticing Chardonnay is fruity on the palate, filled with ripe flavours of fig and melon, coupled with subtle oak notes. These aromas and flavours fuse together to provide a creamy and delicate texture. The finale is crisp and clean. This delicious white wine can be relished within a cellaring term of five years. It tastes marvellous with roast chicken, baked fish parcels and Gruyère cheese.

Niche Chardonnay 2019

Pale green/straw colour. Citrus fruits are the hero with quite a deal of depth to the nose and some stone fruit notes sneaking through. Flavoursome mouthfuls of citrus and stone fruit are the hosts and blend seamlessly to create a silky rich mid palate which is voluptuous and well rounded. Some subtle hints of freshly cut grass give an interesting side note whilst crisp acidity bounds the palate into a beautiful complex and drinkable wine.
