Matured for 18 months in seasoned barrels previously used for Kraehe, the oak integration adds depth and polish while allowing the fruit to remain the centrepiece of the wine. In the glass it reveals an opaque maroon colour with impressive concentration. The nose opens with dark Barossa fruit layered with chocolate, blackberry, cassis and mocha, while savoury nuances of liquorice, beef stock, soy and subtle earthy tones build complexity in the background. The palate is rich and powerful yet beautifully balanced, delivering remarkable intensity, depth and length supported by finely integrated oak and smooth structural tannins.

1x Shanahans The Barking Dog Barossa Valley Grenache Shiraz Mataro 2024 - 14.00% Alc

Fruit forward style with dominant fruit characteristics whilst tannin and oak balance add the complexity. Lively fruit flavours with juicy forest fruits, dried herbs and a touch of French oak. The use of large old format oak creates a fine flowing style of wine with just the right amount of fruit weight and finesse whilst still giving length ensuring its multi-dimensional.

A unique minty truffle chocolate note adds an intriguing layer of complexity, while a touch of vanilla oak provides a subtle yet elegant finish. The palate is rich and full, offering a beautifully balanced experience of fruit sweetness and refined oak influences. Though this wine is drinking beautifully now, it possesses the structure to evolve and develop over the coming years, making it a wine to enjoy in the present and cellar for the future.

1x FU Barossa Valley Pinot Noir 2024 - 14.00% Alc

The 2024 vintage yielded perfectly ripened fruit, allowing for a selective harvest of small, expressive parcels. Natural fermentation with native yeasts in seasoned vats was followed by gentle maceration and pressing. The wine then matured for six months in new oak barrels, completing malolactic fermentation to build structure and texture without sacrificing freshness. A meticulous barrel selection and minimal filtration preserve the purity of the fruit.

2x Peter Lehmann Clancy's Barossa Valley Cabernet Shiraz Merlot 2023 - 14.50% Alc

In the glass, it shows a deep ruby red with vibrant purple hues, opening with lifted aromatics of cassis, red berries and subtle leafy Cabernet notes, layered with hints of spice and gentle oak. The palate is plush and approachable, led by ripe red and dark fruits, with the Shiraz adding warmth and spice while Merlot brings softness and roundness. Fine, silky tannins carry the wine through to a smooth, lingering finish, making it both easy-drinking and impressively structured.

1x Chateau Yaldara Lyndoch Valley Barossa Valley Shiraz 2021 - 15.00% Alc

Deep red in the glass, the wine opens with inviting aromas of ripe cherries and blackberries layered with subtle oak complexity. The palate is rich and expressive, delivering concentrated dark berry fruit supported by well-balanced acidity and finely structured tannins. Oak maturation sits harmoniously through the mid-palate, adding depth and polish while allowing the vibrant fruit to remain the focus. The finish is long, smooth and persistent, reflecting both the power and elegance of Barossa Valley Shiraz.
