During checkout, you may provide an Authority to Leave if your delivery address is unattended. Please note that requests outside Australia Post approved options cannot be followed for security reasons. Wine cannot be left outside the boundary line of a property.

Delivery instructions provided during checkout are a guide only for the contracted courier. While every effort is made to follow them, the driver has the final discretion to determine whether it is safe to leave your order.

Orders returned to sender due to an incorrect delivery address supplied by the purchaser will incur a $13.99 per case re-dispatch fee.

Delivery if you're not home

If delivery is attempted and you have not provided an Authority to Leave, your order will be taken to your local Post Office or carding centre for collection. A collection card will be left at your address. Orders not collected within five business days may be returned to sender.

Get Wines Direct and the contracted courier cannot accept responsibility for missing goods when an Authority to Leave has been provided.

Proof of Age

If the person accepting delivery appears to be under 25 years of age, proof of age will be required. If suitable identification cannot be produced, the order will be redirected to a local Post Office for collection upon presentation of valid identification.

If Authority to Leave has been requested but proof of age cannot be provided by a person at the property, the parcel will not be left unattended. Instead, it will be taken to a Post Office for collection and a delivery notification card will be left.

Returns & Refunds

If you're not satisfied with your order, simply return the wine with an explanation and we'll refund your purchase (or the applicable portion if returning only part of your order), excluding the original delivery fee.

To qualify for our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee:

• Notify us within 365 days of receiving your order. We'll provide return instructions and cover the return postage. If Australia Post cannot complete collection after two attempts, a $6.83 re-lodgement fee will apply.
• For 12-bottle orders, up to 2 bottles may be sampled. The remaining 10 bottles must be returned in their original condition to receive a refund, less the original delivery fee.
• For orders containing fewer than 12 bottles, up to 25% of the bottles may be sampled. The remaining bottles must be returned in their original condition.
• Bonus items must be returned with the original order. If you keep the bonus item, its value will be deducted from your refund.
• Some regional areas cannot be serviced by Australia Post's collection service. In these cases, prepaid return labels will be supplied for lodgement at your local Post Office.

Refunds are processed within 2–3 business days of receiving the returned goods and will be credited to the original payment method.

For PayPal purchases, the original PayPal transaction fee is non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund.

You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Delivery Information

Delivery is a flat rate of $13.99 per carton Australia wide. Get Wines Direct does not deliver to areas classified by the Australian Government as dry zones or general restricted areas.

Orders are dispatched using Australia Post, Aramex, Couriers Please or Home Delivery Services. The delivery provider is automatically selected based on your location and cannot be chosen during checkout.

Get Wines Direct supports the responsible service of alcohol. It is illegal to sell or supply alcohol to anyone under 18 years of age. You must be at least 18 years old to place an order or accept delivery.

When Your Order May Not Be Left

Even if you request an unattended delivery, the driver may leave a collection card instead if:

• No clear Authority to Leave instructions have been provided.
• Someone is present but cannot provide valid proof of age.
• The driver believes minors are present or the delivery location is not suitable for unattended delivery.
