A harmonious blend of the three Champagne grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. From the most expressive crus of the Champagne region. Brut Imperial embodies the Moet and Chandon style. It is a complete generous and dynamic Champagne.

Technical:

Years of maturation, in the cellars, develop a very elegant maturity. Brut Imperial is a Champagne to be shared, a Champagne that brings pleasure with simplicity and with spontaneity. The wine has matured on the lees for several years until considered ready for drinking by the Chef de Cave. It embraces a wide range of flavours including fresh fruit, white flower blossoms and brioche.

Accolades & Awards:

91 Point Rated - Huon Hooke The Real Review

Medium to full straw-yellow colour, and a developed, complex, mellow bouquet showing some depth of aged material. Toasted bread Champagne character. The taste is smooth and dry, savoury and imbued with mushroom and bready yeast-matured pinoty complexities. I like this, although it's not especially refined or delicate. The finish is rich, soft and clean - and satisfying.

91 Point Rated - Gary Walsh The Wine Front

I have been meaning to try a bottle of Moet NV for a while now, having heard that quality was on the rise. Moet is, of course, the choice of b-list celebrity boozers in this country….

Aromas of citrus, flowers, hazlenut and smoke. On the palate a lighter more delicate style of champagne. Quite minerally/chalky with citrus and soda water flavours. Not sweet either. Fine persistent bead. Well balanced with nothing out of place. Dry minerally finish. Very easy to drink. An excellent ‘standing up’ champagne.

91 Point Rated Wine Spectator Magazine

"The minerally undertow imparts a subtle, smoky note that blends with flavors of dried pineapple, biscuit, salted almond and white peach. A balanced version, with a fine bead and well-honed acidity. Drink now through 2018."

Affluence Avenue

“Most loved Champagne in the world, a pleasure to be shared.  Brut Imperial is the Flagship and most accomplished universal expression. Distinguished by its bright fruitiness, it’s very sensitive palate, its elegant maturity. A very complete balance combining together all the diversity and nuances of Champagne. Different grapes, such as Chardonnay, bringing to the blend freshness and finesse elegance a citrus fruit character, combined with Pinot Meunier for white fresh fruits for roundness, suppleness and Pinot Noir for structure, character, vinosity and spiciness.”

At the San Francisco Wine Show in 2009 Moet Chandon Brut NV outpointed the following wines;
