The appearance is crystal clear with an ultrafine and persistent bead, medium straw with a yellow gold hue. A mature and complex style of sparkling expressing aromas of toast, honeycomb, sourdough and nougat. An intriguing blend of flavours, including lemon curd, natural yogurt, brine and a hint of forest floor. The palate has great elegance and poise with a finely balanced dosage or sugar, acidity and tannic structure.
A wine of outstanding quality, enriched by the great complexity of character that follows seven years of tirage. The Arras Grand Vintage retains brilliant freshness and longevity that has exceptional balance and a rich full bodied taste.

"A compellingly rich, savoury, sumptuous fizz with a fine mousse, yeasty autolysis and saline minerality. A touch of oak adds a wonderfully taut note and some dry-roasted nut flavours to the palate, while the finish is long and elegant. Drinking Window 2019 - 2024"
96 Point Rated Top 100 Wines 2018 - James Halliday Wine Companion
"Bright straw-green; this is as energetic and fresh as a 3yo vintage sparkling, showing no signs of age. Granny Smith apple, lemon zest and unsweetened lemon juice flavours cloak the deliberate tannins in the wine, are all there as part of the structure and texture that make this wine so exceptional."
96 Point Rated - Huon Hooke The Real Review
"Light to mid-straw-yellow hue, with a multi-layered bouquet displaying toast, charcuterie, smoke and nougat, with great drying savouriness and mineral taste throughout the palate. It finishes sapid and bone-dry, the creamy texture and palate length are exceptional. This wine is more together now than it has ever been. It no longer shows the overt sulfide it did when young. (65:35 chardonnay to pinot noir, nine years on lees, 4 grams/litre dosage)"
95 Point Rated - Jeremy Oliver
"Evolving and tightly wound around a chalky spine, its nutty, spicy bouquet of citrus, melon and stonefruit is backed by notes of lime juice, brioche and minerals. It's complex and creamy, with a slightly funky presence of lemon, melon, peach and apple skin with waxy, lanolin-like notes and a brittle, slatey finish that's both dry and savoury. Exceptionally long, balanced and refreshing."
