Tasting Notes:

Crafted from 100% Prosecco grapes grown in the lush Goulburn Valley, the Dalfarras Victorian Prosecco 2023 is a vibrant expression of elegance and complexity, brought to life by the fourth-generation custodians of Tahbilk—one of Australia's most historic and awarded wineries. This dazzling Prosecco, a Trophy Winner for Best Australian Prosecco and Gold Medal Winner at the 2024 Rutherglen Wine Show, embodies both innovation and tradition.

Hand-harvested and crushed under the cool night sky to lock in freshness, the grapes underwent carefully tailored fermentations, with parcels treated to malolactic fermentation, French oak, or extended time on lees. These techniques contributed to a layered blend with character and finesse.

Brilliant pale straw with bright tints, the wine opens with a fragrant nose of crisp pear, lemon zest, and delicate citrus blossoms. The palate is luscious and fruit-forward, offering vibrant flavours of lemon and green apple with a clean, zesty finish and fine bead of spritz, making it ideal for celebration or casual enjoyment. It pairs effortlessly with seafood canapés, summer salads, or a fresh citrus-dressed prawn and avocado dish, enhancing its lively profile.

Accolades & Awards:

Jenni Port, Halliday Wine Companion

"Melts in the mouth in whisper-thin bursts of bubbles, fresh apple, lemon zest and pear sorbet. The effect is mighty pleasing. It's not the most complex of prosecco, but it is mighty tasty, bright, crunchy and super refreshing on a hot day."
