Tasting Notes:

The 2005 Viognier was hand picked when flavours were at their peak for maximum flavour on the palate. On the nose, it has a rich yet subtle aroma and finishes with subtle oak flavours.

Technical:

The Mount Torrens Vineyard was established in 1996. It has an elevation of 450-500 metres with 6 acres of Shiraz and Viognier on east facing slopes. The Solstice Shiraz Viognier is the end result of many years of planning to produce a true estate grown co fermented wine. Grapes were harvested in very late April from extremely low yielding vines. It was then aged in second use only French oak for 18 months.
