97 POINT RATED WINESTATE MAGAZINE & 95 POINT RATED SAM KIM WINE ORBIT EDEN VALLEY RIESLING
Pale in colour with a vibrant green hue. Lifted aromas of citrus blossom, lemon and jasmine flower with a touch of dried herb. Youthfully attractive with lemon and lime zest and fresh green apple. Some dried herb and perfume add complexity to the fine mineral acidity. The backbone has a flinty character and a touch of slate. The natural fruit acidity highlights the wines ability to age gracefully over time.

"Pale straw wine with a green tinge, inviting brown lime-like aromas and a generous, fuller style palate with pretty perfumed fruit flavours and hints of citrus."
95 Point Rated - Sam Kim Wine Orbit
"Gorgeously restrained and elegant with white flesh nectarine, lemon/lime peel and crunchy apple aromas, it's finely textured and delicately expressed in the mouth delivering refined mouthfeel backed by firm acidity, finishing impressively long and engaging. At its best: 2025 to 2041. $40.00. Sept 2022."

"Some nice lemon rind zestiness to the nose. Good quality citrusy varietal fruit and some residual sugar balanced with enough acidity to carry it."
92 Point Rated - Erin Larkin Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
"The 2021 Evergreen Eden Valley Riesling is soft, for an Eden Valley Riesling. Which is very pleasant, because on release, Rieslings from Eden are tightly wound, austere and mineral. This is all of those things but couched in a softer, more pillowy frame. You get green apples, a hint of kiwi, spring flowers and white tea, with a hint of singed eucalyptus and embers. Lovely."

The Riesling is sourced from a single vineyard in the cool climate, high altitude region of Eden Valley in the Barossa ranges. The grapes were individually picked out in the vineyards for their exceptional quality and picked separately to the rest of the vineyard. To ensure the grapes were harvested at optimum flavour and acid balance, the ripening of the grapes was monitored with regular berry tasting in the lead up to picking, then harvested in the cool of the night. After crushing and must chilling, the free run juice was drained and clarified with minimum skin contact. This juice was then cool fermented between 13 – 15C with selected yeast to enhance the delicate Riesling flavours. The wine was bottled with a screw cap closure to retain the pristine aromas and flavours.
Ready to be enjoyed now and will have a great lifespan which will enable it to be drunk over the next 10 years for those that enjoy aged style Riesling.
